About Me🎀

Welcome to my healthy lifestyle blog! My name is Arpiné (it’s foreign, I know, what were my parents thinking!?). I am a recent college grad with a bachelors in biology located in the heart of Boston (or how we say Bahston), Massachusetts! Being born and raised in the lands of Armenia, my earliest childhood memories were always picking fresh, ripe, and juicy fruits and veggies from my grandparents’s farm. Imagine picking blood red pomegranates off of isles of trees on a hot sunny day and munching on them under a shady tree. YUM! My childhood memories and advanced course studies in biology has allowed me to share and understand biochemical pathways that comprise and nourish our bodies. Well, this very exact idea is what inspired me to create this blog! Daily Dose of Tomatoes represents more than just the taste of the yummy fruit (or veggie). For over a decade, my mother has been purchasing dozens of tomatoes a week for the household. It was then that my father and I discovered that our tastebuds have quit a liking to these round mushy delights. They say apples keep the dentist away, well for my father and I, it was tomatoes that kept the cardiologists away.

Fast forward 10 years, I adopted the most adorable Siberian husky puppy named Diesel. In fact, he was so fluffy and full of cuteness that I began taking photos of him daily hence, naming it the Daily Dose of Diesel movement. It was brought to my attention that my fuzzy love bug also had extra special tastebuds that preferred to eat those mushy red delights. Like mommy like son right?Taking care of Diesel from his tiny paw days to 2 years old only inspired me more to create this blog. There is so much negative stigma around the doggy food industry that I find it crucial and vital to serve Diesel only the healthiest kibble and home made meals. This way, I know exactly every ingredient that goes inside his meals but also promotes him a long, happy, and healthy life beside me. For those of you who have furry babies, I’m sure their health is absolutely vital to you. 🙂

On a side note, I truly believe that science and medicine is advancing to great magnitudes but we should take a step back in time and take care of our bodies using natural, organic, and holistic measures as our ancestors once did. Science has evolved so quickly within the last decade that it’s truly incredible! When you look back ten years from now, you would never consider the possibility of T cell therapy or the development of artificial organs! Daily these medical developments save and touch the lives of so many global citizens and is absolutely vital for the future of human medicine. Despite how revolutionary these advances are, we are also being introduced to GMO’s and harmful chemicals. I believe it is important to look back at our roots and use effective and natural methods to sustain our good health on a daily measure. From home made aloe vera masks to ingesting flaxseeds for our digestive health, we can be in control of our health and prevent diseases. The body is the most incredible composition of matter that it can become restored and balanced despite all faults. We must invest in ourselves. We must enlighten our heart, soul, and mind with the correct nutritional sources and positivity.

Yours sincerely,

Arp
